Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Beef Sirloin, thinly sliced Ideal for stir-frying due to its tenderness.
  • 1 each Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 each Green Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 each Medium Yellow Onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • 1 cup Provolone or Mozzarella Cheese, shredded Melts beautifully to bind the ingredients.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Optional Ingredients

  • to taste Jalapeños, sliced For added heat.
  • to taste Hot Sauce For added heat.

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and stir for an additional minute.
  • Increase heat to high, add sliced beef sirloin, and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  • Add sliced bell peppers and sauté for an additional 5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, sprinkle cheese over the mixture, cover, and let melt for 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir the mixture to combine melted cheese with beef and vegetables. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish can be customized with different cheeses or additional vegetables. Serve with fries or over a bed of greens for a complete meal.
