  • 0.5 cup Maple Syrup Pure maple syrup for drizzling.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon For flavoring the peaches.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Cut into small pieces.
  • 1 pinch Ground Nutmeg Optional, for added flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt To balance sweetness.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  • Wash and dry the peaches thoroughly. Cut them in half and remove the pits.
  • Arrange the peach halves, cut side up, in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup and ground cinnamon together.
  • Drizzle the maple cinnamon mixture over each peach half.
  • Distribute the butter pieces evenly over the peach halves.
  • If using nutmeg, sprinkle a pinch over the peaches.
  • Sprinkle a small pinch of salt over the peaches.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the peaches are tender and slightly caramelized.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
