Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
Wash and dry the peaches thoroughly. Cut them in half and remove the pits.
Arrange the peach halves, cut side up, in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup and ground cinnamon together.
Drizzle the maple cinnamon mixture over each peach half.
Distribute the butter pieces evenly over the peach halves.
If using nutmeg, sprinkle a pinch over the peaches.
Sprinkle a small pinch of salt over the peaches.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the peaches are tender and slightly caramelized.
