Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels Sprouts Trimmed and halved.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Minced.
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes Adjust based on heat preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil For cooking.
  • to taste Green Onions Finely sliced, for garnish.
  • to taste Sesame Seeds Toasted, for garnish.

Instructions

  • Rinse Brussels sprouts under cold water, pat dry, trim ends, and slice in half.
  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil until shimmering.
  • Add halved Brussels sprouts in a single layer and sear for 3-4 minutes without stirring.
  • Stir Brussels sprouts and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes; whisk until blended.
  • Pour the sauce over the Brussels sprouts, stir to coat, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat and drizzle sesame oil over the stir fry.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently in a skillet.
