Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the chicken drumsticks under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine BBQ sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.
  • Add the drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Arrange the drumsticks on the wire rack and roast for 35-45 minutes, basting with additional BBQ sauce halfway through.
  • Check for doneness with a meat thermometer (165°F/75°C) or ensure juices run clear when pierced.
  • Let the drumsticks rest for 5-10 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
