Chicken Breasts

Avocado Salsa Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados Provides creamy texture.

  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice Brings brightness and acidity.

Instructions

  • Prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  • Place chicken breasts in a zip-top bag, pour the marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the avocado salsa by mashing avocados in a bowl, then mixing in tomatoes, red onion, lime juice, and cilantro.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve topped with avocado salsa.

Notes

For a smoky twist, add smoked paprika to the marinade. For a spicier kick, include jalapeƱos or cayenne pepper.
