  • 1/2 cup Tahini Creamy sesame paste.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce For umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning.
  • pinch Red Pepper Flakes Optional, for heat.

Instructions

  • 1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  • 2. Rinse the broccoli florets under cold water and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • 4. Add broccoli to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  • 5. In a mixing bowl, combine tahini, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth, adding pasta water to thin if necessary.
  • 6. Add drained noodles to the skillet, pour tahini sauce over, and toss to coat evenly.
  • 7. Cook for an additional minute to heat through. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • 8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

This dish can be served warm or cold, making it great for meal prep. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
