  • 4 fillets Trout Fillets Fresh, about 6 ounces each.
  • 0.5 cup Sesame Seeds A mix of white and black, toasted for flavor.
  • 0.33 cup Teriyaki Sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For cooking the trout.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For flavor enhancement.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper Freshly cracked for better flavor.
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Pat the trout fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a shallow dish, mix sesame seeds and garlic powder.
  • Dip each trout fillet in teriyaki sauce, then coat with the sesame mixture.
  • Place the coated fillets on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the sesame seeds are golden and the trout flakes easily.
  • Let the trout rest for a couple of minutes, then garnish with green onions before serving.
