Ingredients

Salmon Fillets

  • 4 fillets Fresh Salmon Fillets Aim for about 4 to 6 ounces per serving, skinless.

Salsa Verde

  • 1 cup Salsa Verde A blend of fresh herbs, garlic, lime juice, and green chilies.

Olive Oil

  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil For drizzling over the salmon before cooking.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper For seasoning the salmon.

Lime Wedges

  • 1 whole Lime Cut into wedges for serving.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if applicable, and sear for 4 to 5 minutes until golden.
  • Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  • Transfer the salmon to a baking dish and spoon salsa verde over the top.
  • Bake in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes until warmed through.
  • Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
