  • 1 pound Fresh Salmon Skinless and deboned.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Plain or seasoned.
  • 1 large Egg Whisked before adding.
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Finely chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper To taste.

Instructions

  • Prepare your workspace and gather all ingredients. Ensure your salmon is fresh and properly filleted.
  • Chop the fresh salmon into small pieces or use a food processor to finely mince.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon with breadcrumbs.
  • Add the finely chopped green onions to the bowl and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg until well blended, then pour it into the salmon mixture.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add the lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
  • Form the mixture into patties about 1 inch thick.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
  • Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove the patties and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
