Instructions
Prepare your workspace and gather all ingredients. Ensure your salmon is fresh and properly filleted.
Chop the fresh salmon into small pieces or use a food processor to finely mince.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon with breadcrumbs.
Add the finely chopped green onions to the bowl and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg until well blended, then pour it into the salmon mixture.
Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add the lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
Form the mixture into patties about 1 inch thick.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.
Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the patties and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
