Ingredients

Pasta

  • 400 g Pasta of choice Spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne recommended.

Nduja

  • 150 g Nduja Spicy, spreadable salami.

Butter

  • 100 g Unsalted Butter Essential for a creamy texture.

Garlic

  • 2-3 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced.

Fresh Basil

  • 1 handful Fresh Basil Leaves Roughly chopped.

Parmesan Cheese

  • 50 g Grated Parmesan Cheese For serving.

Salt and Pepper

  • Salt To taste.
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper To taste.

Instructions

  • 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter, swirling occasionally to prevent browning.
  • 3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • 4. Add the nduja to the skillet, stirring well to combine with the melted butter for about 3-4 minutes.
  • 5. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta. Do not rinse.
  • 6. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  • 7. Add the fresh basil and toss again. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 8. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.

Consider adding seasonal vegetables or a splash of cream for variations.
