  • 4 fillets Salmon Fillets Fresh, skin-on fillets, about 6 ounces each.
  • 3 tablespoons Honey Use pure, raw honey for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Low-sodium soy sauce recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, adjust based on preference.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt Use to taste.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper Use to taste.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon skin-side down. Brush with the honey glaze.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • For grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high and cook salmon skin-side down for 6-8 minutes per side, basting with glaze.
  • For pan-searing, heat a skillet over medium heat, add oil, and cook salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Drizzle with remaining glaze and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Leftover salmon can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
