Instructions
Prepare tostada shells by frying corn tortillas in oil until golden brown and crispy, or bake store-bought shells as per package instructions.
Warm the refried beans in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until heated through.
Spread a layer of warm refried beans onto each tostada shell.
Add a layer of shredded lettuce on top of the beans.
Sprinkle diced tomatoes over the lettuce.
Slice the avocado and arrange on top of the tomatoes.
Add a layer of shredded cheese on top.
Top each tostada with a dollop of sour cream.
Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and drizzle with hot sauce before serving.
