Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Mix well.
Add softened butter and blend until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs until light and frothy.
Add corn syrup, sugar, vanilla bean paste, and salt to the eggs. Mix until smooth.
Fold in chopped pecans.
Pour the filling over the baked crust and spread evenly.
Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes until the filling is set.
Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
