Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter and dust with flour.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
In a separate bowl, beat the butter until creamy, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and egg mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the fresh berries.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar or serve as is.
