Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

Fresh Berries

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter and dust with flour.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the butter until creamy, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and egg mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the fresh berries.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or serve as is.
  • Enjoy with whipped cream or ice cream.
