  • 400 grams Chicken Breast Boneless, skinless, diced into small cubes.
  • 1 cup Sweet Corn Fresh or frozen.
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth Low-sodium optional.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Freshly grated.
  • 2 pieces Green Onions Chopped, for garnish.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper Freshly ground.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil For flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Mixed with water to thicken.

Instructions

  • Dice the chicken breast into small, uniform cubes.
  • In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pot and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the diced chicken to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  • Reduce heat to a simmer and add the sweet corn, cooking for about 5 minutes.
  • Mix the cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry, then pour into the soup while stirring.
  • Simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes until thickened to desired consistency.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir in chopped green onions.
  • Serve hot in bowls, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
