  • 1 cup Sushi Rice Rinse under cold water until clear.
  • 8 ounces Imitation Crab Meat Shredded into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 medium Cucumber Peeled and sliced into thin strips.
  • 1 medium Avocado Cut into wedges or cubes.
  • 1 medium Carrot Grated or julienned.
  • 2-3 Green Onions Finely chopped.
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds For sprinkling on top.
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar Added to warm sushi rice.
  • to taste Soy Sauce For serving on the side.

Instructions

  • Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until clear. Cook in a rice cooker or pot with 1 cup of water according to instructions.
  • While the rice cooks, slice the cucumber and grate the carrot. Set aside.
  • Once rice is cooked, transfer to a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, and fold gently. Let cool.
  • Shred the imitation crab meat into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  • Prepare the avocado by cutting it in half, removing the pit, and slicing it.
  • Assemble the bowls by starting with a scoop of sushi rice, then layering with crab meat, cucumber, carrot, and avocado.
  • Top with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with soy sauce on the side.
