Instructions
Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain and place in a bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to the beef. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Minced the garlic and grated the ginger.
Heat a large wok over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Add the marinated beef to the wok in a single layer and sear for 1-2 minutes without stirring.
Stir-fry the beef for an additional 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the wok and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the wok and mix well with the broccoli.
Pour in the remaining soy sauce and oyster sauce, and simmer for 2 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and add it to the wok, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Drizzle sesame oil over the stir fry and stir well to combine.
Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with toasted sesame seeds if desired.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
