  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing vegetables.

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion until translucent.
  • 3. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  • 4. Incorporate sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  • 5. Add chopped kale and cook until wilted.
  • 6. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk, then season with salt and pepper.
  • 7. Combine cubed bread with the egg mixture, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
  • 8. Fold in the sautéed vegetables and cheese.
  • 9. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • 10. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
