Instructions
Chop the fresh salmon into small pieces, aiming for a coarse texture.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, minced garlic, and green onions.
Add the gochujang to the mixture and combine thoroughly.
Incorporate the breadcrumbs until fully absorbed.
Crack the egg into the bowl and mix until well combined.
Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties, about 1 inch thick.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with oil.
Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before serving on buns with desired toppings.
