Instructions
Peel and slice the onions thinly. Mince the garlic and have all ingredients ready.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foamy.
Add the sliced onions to the skillet and stir to coat them in butter.
Cook the onions for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are translucent and soft.
Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the gochujang, mixing well with the onions and garlic.
Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
Remove from heat once onions are tender and glossy.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onions.
Serve warm as a side dish.
