Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your workspace with all ingredients and utensils.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly.
Crack the egg into the mixture and mix until fully incorporated. The mixture should be slightly sticky.
Form the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and gently roll them to coat.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
Once the meatballs are done, let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the meatballs with marinara sauce and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
Notes
For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for spice or using different herbs like basil or oregano.
