Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash and trim the asparagus, discarding the woody ends.
Place the trimmed asparagus in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast the asparagus for 15-20 minutes until bright green and tender.
In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add the rinsed white beans to the saucepan and warm through for 3-5 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, mixing until creamy. Add water if needed for consistency.
Arrange the roasted asparagus on a platter and spoon the savory Parmesan beans over the top.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.

For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for heat or sun-dried tomatoes for a Mediterranean twist.
