Instructions

  • Peel the fresh ginger root and chop it into small pieces.
  • Wash the lemons and juice them, removing any seeds.
  • In a blender, combine the chopped ginger, lemon juice, turmeric (if using), and 1 cup of water.
  • Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until well combined.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher.
  • Taste the mixture and add honey if desired, then blend briefly to combine.
