Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Add the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
