Ingredients

Steak

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder Can substitute with freshly minced garlic.
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder Adds mild sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Helps seasoning adhere to steak.

Optional Garnishes

Instructions

  • Remove the steak from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30-45 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450-500°F (232-260°C).
  • Pat the steak dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder together.
  • Rub the olive oil on both sides of the steak and apply the seasoning mixture generously.
  • Place the steak on the grill and cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Flip the steak and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
  • Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • Slice the steak against the grain and serve with optional fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
