Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes Packed in oil for flavor.

  • 1 cup heavy cream Creates a luxurious sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adds complexity to the dish.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Introduces a nutty richness.

Garnish

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add sun-dried tomatoes and stir with garlic, cooking for another minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
  • Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes to thicken.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  • Serve immediately with sauce over the chicken.
