  • 1 pound Ground Chicken Use fresh ground chicken for optimal results.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely grated.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 handful Fresh Parsley Finely chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Ground.
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Ground.

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 lemon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.

Skewers

  • as needed Wooden or Metal Skewers Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes if using.

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients on a clean surface.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken with the finely grated onion.
  • Add the minced garlic to the mixture and stir well.
  • Sprinkle in the ground cumin and coriander, mixing thoroughly.
  • Incorporate the finely chopped parsley into the mixture.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Drizzle the olive oil and squeeze in the lemon juice.
  • Using your hands, gently mix all the ingredients until fully combined.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  • Form the chicken mixture into oblong shapes around your skewers.
  • Carefully place the skewers on the hot grates and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side.
  • Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the kebabs with your choice of sides or dips.

Notes

These kebabs can be grilled, baked, or pan-fried. They hold up well in the refrigerator and can be easily reheated.
