Instructions
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
Pound the chicken breasts to about half an inch thick and season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Set up a breading station with beaten egg in one bowl and seasoned breadcrumbs in another. Dip chicken in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the breaded chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer to a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread marinara sauce over the dough, then arrange sliced chicken on top.
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken and sauce.
Slide the pizza onto the hot stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve hot.
