  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.

Instructions

  • Prepare the Green Beans: Wash and trim the green beans.
  • Blanch the Green Beans: Boil salted water, add green beans, and cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
  • Shock the Beans: Transfer the beans to ice water to stop cooking.
  • Toast the Almonds: In a skillet, toast slivered almonds over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Sauté the Garlic: Melt butter in the skillet, add minced garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Add the Green Beans: Drain the beans and toss them in the garlic butter for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Finish the Dish: Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss in toasted almonds.
  • Garnish and Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with parsley.
