Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick rounds and lay them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle the sliced baguette with olive oil and spread evenly.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
Dice the ripe tomatoes and season with salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Add crumbled goat cheese to the tomatoes and gently combine.
Remove crostini from the oven and let cool slightly.
Spoon the tomato and goat cheese mixture onto each crostini.
Sprinkle torn basil leaves over the top.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
