Instructions
Gather all your ingredients on a clean cutting board.
Rinse the tomatoes under cold water, pat dry, cut in half, remove seeds, and chop into small pieces.
Peel and rinse the red onion, then chop it into small pieces.
Prepare the jalapeño by removing seeds and chopping finely.
Chop the fresh cilantro and set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
Squeeze lime juice over the mixture, add salt and black pepper, and stir to combine.
Let the salsa rest for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Give the salsa a final stir, adjust seasoning if necessary, and serve.
