Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop.
  • Wash the ripe tomatoes thoroughly under cold running water.
  • Slice the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Wash the fresh basil leaves gently and pat them dry.
  • Tear the basil leaves into smaller pieces and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine the harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  • Whisk the dressing ingredients together until well combined.
  • Pour the dressing over the tomato and basil mixture and gently toss to coat.
  • Carefully remove the burrata from its packaging and drain any excess liquid.
  • Place the burrata in the center of the salad and gently break the outer layer.
  • Drizzle a little extra olive oil over the burrata and sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  • For added crunch, sprinkle toasted pine nuts or pumpkin seeds on top.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor.
