Instructions

  • Begin by preparing your ingredients. Open the canned tuna and drain it thoroughly to remove excess liquid.
  • Rinse the apple under cold water, then core and dice it into small pieces.
  • Chop the celery into small, uniform pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, diced apple, and chopped celery. Use a fork to break up the tuna slightly and mix gently.
  • In a small bowl, prepare the dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently fold it in with a spatula.
  • Taste the salad and adjust seasoning if necessary.
