Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients and necessary tools, including a mixing bowl, a fork for mashing, and a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Peel the ripe bananas and mash them in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Add the almond butter to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
  • Incorporate the rolled oats into the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  • Pour in the honey or maple syrup and cocoa powder, mixing until fully combined.
  • Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly dispersed.
  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls, placing them on the lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate the bites for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the remaining dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Dip each bite into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and return to the baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each chocolate-coated bite before the chocolate hardens.
