Instructions
Begin by brewing your coffee. Use about 1 cup of your favorite coffee beans, ensuring a strong brew.
Pour the hot coffee into a heatproof glass or mug, and add the sugar. Stir gently until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Pour approximately 1/4 cup of heavy cream into a mixing bowl. Whip the cream lightly until it thickens slightly.
Carefully layer the whipped cream over the coffee by tilting the glass and pouring the cream gently over the back of a spoon.
If desired, sprinkle cocoa powder or cinnamon on top of the whipped cream for added flavor.
Serve your Easy Irish Coffee immediately while it’s hot.
Notes
For a mocha twist, add cocoa powder to the coffee. For a spiced version, incorporate nutmeg or cardamom.
