  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin.
  • ½ teaspoon Sea Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 2-4 tablespoons Water To achieve desired consistency.

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients. If using jarred roasted red peppers, drain them thoroughly. If making at home, roast peppers at 450°F until charred, about 20-30 minutes. Cool, peel, and remove seeds.
  • In a blender, add the roasted red peppers cut into smaller pieces.
  • Add tahini to the blender.
  • Add minced garlic.
  • Pour in lemon juice.
  • Drizzle in olive oil.
  • Sprinkle in sea salt.
  • Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed.
  • If too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.
  • Transfer to a sterilized jar and seal tightly.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
