Instructions
Heat a medium-sized pot over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Add the oil and test with 2-3 kernels. Wait for them to pop.
Remove test kernels and add the remaining popcorn kernels in an even layer.
Cover the pot with a lid, leaving it slightly ajar to allow steam to escape.
Shake the pot gently every few seconds until popping slows to 2 seconds between pops.
Remove from heat and lift the lid to let steam escape.
Transfer popcorn to a large bowl, drizzle with melted butter, and add any flavorings.
Season with salt to taste and toss to coat.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
