Ingredients

Shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or properly thawed for best flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil For marinating the shrimp.

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and chili flakes if using. Whisk until well combined.
  • Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the shrimp onto skewers and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until opaque and charred.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
