Instructions

  • Collect turkey drippings from the roasting pan and pour into a measuring cup, discarding any solid bits.
  • In a medium saucepan, warm the turkey drippings over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, mix gluten-free flour with a few tablespoons of chicken broth to create a smooth paste.
  • Whisk the flour paste into the warm drippings, stirring continuously.
  • Gradually add the remaining chicken broth while whisking to create a smooth consistency.
  • Add onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt to taste, whisking to combine.
  • Simmer the gravy for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened. Adjust consistency with more broth if needed.
  • If using, stir in fresh herbs just before removing from heat.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve immediately or keep warm until ready to use.
