Turkey Drippings
Accumulated juices from roasted turkey.
1/4
cup
Gluten-Free Flour
A blend of rice flour, tapioca starch, and potato starch works best.
2
cups
Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
Enhances flavor and helps achieve the right consistency.

Garlic Powder
Infuses the gravy with a warm, savory note.
1/2
teaspoon
Black Pepper
Adjust to taste.
1/4
teaspoon
Salt
Adjust as needed based on seasoning of drippings or broth.
1
tablespoon
Fresh Herbs (optional)
Chopped thyme or parsley for added freshness.
Instructions
Collect turkey drippings from the roasting pan and pour into a measuring cup, discarding any solid bits.
In a medium saucepan, warm the turkey drippings over medium heat.
In a small bowl, mix gluten-free flour with a few tablespoons of chicken broth to create a smooth paste.
Whisk the flour paste into the warm drippings, stirring continuously.
Gradually add the remaining chicken broth while whisking to create a smooth consistency.
Add onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt to taste, whisking to combine.
Simmer the gravy for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened. Adjust consistency with more broth if needed.
If using, stir in fresh herbs just before removing from heat.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve immediately or keep warm until ready to use.
Notes
This gravy pairs well with turkey, mashed potatoes, and roasted vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
