Instructions
Prepare your ingredients. If using frozen shrimp, thaw and pat dry. Mince garlic and chop parsley.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foamy and light golden brown.
Add minced garlic and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until opaque.
Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, stir to combine, and scrape up any bits from the skillet.
Allow the broth to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust seasoning to taste.
If desired, add cooked pasta or rice and toss gently to coat with the sauce.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove.
