  • 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen shrimp works well.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter, unsalted Essential for the garlic sauce.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Use low-sodium for better control of saltiness.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed for brightness.

  • for garnish Parsley, chopped Adds color and flavor.

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients. If using frozen shrimp, thaw and pat dry. Mince garlic and chop parsley.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foamy and light golden brown.
  • Add minced garlic and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  • Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until opaque.
  • Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, stir to combine, and scrape up any bits from the skillet.
  • Allow the broth to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • If desired, add cooked pasta or rice and toss gently to coat with the sauce.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove.
