Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  • In a saucepan, pour 2 cups of milk and place it over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Mix 1/4 cup of custard powder with 2 tablespoons of cold milk to create a smooth paste.
  • Once the milk is warm, add 1/2 cup of sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Add the custard paste to the warm milk, whisking continuously.
  • Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and stir in a pinch of cardamom powder.
  • Transfer the custard to a bowl or cups and allow to cool to room temperature.
  • Prepare fruits by washing and chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Layer the chopped fruits on top of the custard or fold them in.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts on top before serving.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.
