Instructions
Begin by preparing your Brussels sprouts. Rinse them under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
Trim the ends of each Brussels sprout and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves.
Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise to increase the surface area for crisping.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry the Brussels sprouts for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
Check for doneness; they should be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Once cooked, remove the Brussels sprouts and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
