Instructions

  • Begin by preparing your Brussels sprouts. Rinse them under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Trim the ends of each Brussels sprout and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves.
  • Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise to increase the surface area for crisping.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry the Brussels sprouts for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Check for doneness; they should be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  • Once cooked, remove the Brussels sprouts and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
