Ingredients

Pasta

  • 20-24 pieces Jumbo Pasta Shells Cook until al dente.

Cheese Filling

  • 15 ounces Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach Sauté until wilted.

Sauce

  • 3 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente, about 9-11 minutes.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  • Add fresh spinach to the skillet and sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, sautéed spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Drain the pasta shells and rinse under cold water. Lay them on a towel to dry.
  • Spread a cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Fill each shell with the cheese and spinach mixture and place them in the baking dish.
  • Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the filled shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  • Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For variations, consider adding sautéed vegetables, proteins, or different cheeses to the filling.
