Instructions
Wash and slice the strawberries, then combine with 1/4 cup of sugar in a saucepan and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
Roll lemons on the countertop, cut in half, and squeeze out 1 cup of lemon juice.
Heat the strawberry mixture with 2 cups of water over medium heat until sugar dissolves and strawberries soften, about 5-7 minutes.
Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding solids, and add the lemon juice.
Add 2 cups of cold water, stir well, and adjust sweetness if needed.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving over ice.
Garnish with lemon slices or strawberries and serve immediately.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
