Ingredients

Crust Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Graham cracker crumbs Provides the base for your cheesecake.
  • 0.5 cups Granulated sugar Sweetens the crust.
  • 0.33 cups Unsalted butter Melted, binds the crumbs together.

Filling Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Cream cheese Softened, provides creamy texture.
  • 1 cup Sour cream Adds tangy flavor.
  • 3 large Eggs Provides structure to the filling.

Topping Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries Hulled and sliced for topping.
  • 1 cup Strawberry sauce Optional, for drizzling.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Stir until it resembles wet sand.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add granulated sugar and sour cream, beat until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour the batter over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set.
  • Turn off the oven and crack the door, let cool for 1 hour.
  • Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Top with sliced strawberries or drizzle with strawberry sauce before serving.
  • Slice using a hot knife for clean cuts and serve chilled.
