  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree Canned or freshly made.
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the pumpkin puree and vegetable oil, mixing well.
  • Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just blended.
  • Pour in the water and stir gently to achieve a smooth batter.
  • Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with vegetable oil or use parchment paper.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Once cooled, slice and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
