Instructions
Prepare your workspace and gather all the ingredients.
In a mixing bowl, crack open the eggs and beat them thoroughly.
Add milk and sugar to the beaten eggs and mix until smooth.
Soak each slice of bread in the egg mixture for about 30 seconds on each side.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
Fry the soaked bread slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the toast from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
Repeat the frying process with the remaining slices, adding more butter as needed.
Serve the French toast sprinkled with powdered sugar and drizzled with syrup.
