Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 pieces Lasagna Noodles Cooked al dente.

Filling

  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Shredded, can use rotisserie chicken.
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese For a creamy filling.
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese For layering and topping.
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Grated, for topping.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • ¼ cup Fresh Basil Chopped.

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on a clean towel.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, minced garlic, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Take one lasagna noodle, place a generous amount of filling at one end, and roll it tightly. Place seam-side down in a baking dish.
  • Pour half of the marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange the roll-ups snugly and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  • Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional basil if desired.

Notes

Consider adding vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the filling for extra nutrition. You can also use different cheeses for a unique flavor.
