Ingredients

Salmon Fillets

  • 4 pieces Fresh Salmon Fillets (6 oz each) Skin-on for crispy texture.

Spiced Butter Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Softened to room temperature.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (parsley, dill, or chives) Finely chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 piece Lemon Juice Juice of half a lemon.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil until shimmering.
  • Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes without moving.
  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, herbs, spices, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  • Add spiced butter to the skillet and let it melt over the salmon.
  • Transfer salmon to a plate, drizzle with remaining butter, and garnish with herbs.
  • Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For variations, try different citrus juices or add a pinch of cayenne for heat.
