Ingredients

Cheese

  • 8 ounces Manchego Cheese Cut into bite-sized cubes.

Breading

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Mixed with salt and pepper.
  • 2 large Eggs Whisked for egg wash.
  • 1 cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs For coating the cheese.

Seasoning

  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt For seasoning flour and breadcrumbs.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground.

Oil

  • 2 inches Oil for Frying Vegetable or canola oil, heated to 350°F.

Instructions

  • Cut the Manchego cheese into bite-sized cubes, about 1 inch each.
  • Set up your breading station with flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow dishes.
  • Coat each cheese cube in flour, dip in egg wash, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F.
  • Fry the cheese bites in small batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with marinara or spicy aioli for dipping.
